Kern Valley Construction, Inc. has incorporated the Design-Build philosophy of construction into our practice. Handling both design and construction, we act as a single point of responsibility for quality, cost and schedule. The Client's building requirements and expectations are documented and brought into the design process while taking into consideration practical, cost effective methods of construction to achieve the desired result.

With the traditional design-bid-build approach, the Client is responsible for commissioning an Architect or Engineer to prepare permit-ready drawings and specifications under one contract, and subsequently select a Contractor under a separate contract.

By using Kern Valley Construction, Inc. as a single source Design-Build firm, the Client is able to focus on their building needs and budget constraints, rather than acting as a coordinator of information between the Designer and Builder.

As Designers, Kern Valley Construction, Inc. designs plans with customer's needs in mind while complying with state and local building regulations. Our extensive construction knowledge allows us to design comprehensive plans applicable to Engineers, building officials and the construction industry.

Design services that we offer our clients include in-house building, site, and engineering design services. We take our Clients from the initial Site Plan Review process to final permit-ready drawings and specifications.

As a licensed General "B" Building Contractor, we provide contracting services to the Commercial, Industrial and private business sectors. We specialize in complete commercial developments. Our construction knowledge and ability consists of all types including Structural Steel.

As a licensed General "A" Engineering Contractor, we are able to provide our customers with complete site improvements, from planning to finished development ready for building installation. Kern Valley Construction, Inc. works closely with County and local City Planning Departments to provide customers with hassle free developments.

We offer construction consulting services for Building and Engineering projects. Kern Valley Construction, Inc. provides consulting as a means to assist clients with their building projects from basic to complex issues. Consulting offers clients concentrated design knowledge from many years of construction of all types.

Kern Valley Construction, Inc. has in-house steel erectors well experienced in all types of steel construction. All employees are covered by Worker's Compensation Insurance. We erect our own buildings as well as others previously purchased by other owners. Our work is high quality and we pay attention to detail. We build according to provided plans and specifications.

Kern Valley Construction, Inc. offers in-house electrical engineering and design services for our developments. Our highly-skilled electrical crew is able to construct even the most complex designs.
